Walkthrough

Go into Chaos Plane in the Battlefield in Northern Osteth. At the bottom of the stairs, take the southeast stairway and enter the green portal. You are now inside Chaos Eidolon Dungeon and to your right you will see a small group of narrow paths that lead to an NPC called Tormented Shadow Wraith, you may speak to him (but do not need to) and take the portal behind him. This portal is recallable.

You are now inside the Chaos Forge Dungeon (Map inside link). Use the left path and fight your way back to the Hammer of Light.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Never touch the Chaos Forge! It will apply a 5 minute damage over time that does 300 damage a tick and will eventually kill you.

When the group is ready to start the quest, just talk to the Hammer of Light, and you will be ported inside the Chaos Forge inner dungeons. You will need to cross 5 different platforms, each with different geometry and creatures. All present a different challenge, so be ready to adapt and fight. In the middle of each platform, there will be a boss. Once the group kills it, the whole fellowship will be ported to the next one.

Red Platform (One)

When you are teleported into this dungeon, all fellow members will be randomly split up and sent to one of the 4 landing points. This platform has many Chaos Golems and Furious Chaos Wisps, so be ready. Mezzers are extremely useful here! Communicate with your group and make your way to the center of the platform (check the second image for recommended path). There are some segments of false floor, so do NOT try jumping if you can't move forward, just go around. Once in the middle, kill the boss; an Uplifted Chaos Golem. Once he is killed, the fellowship will be ported to the next platform.

Yellow Platform (Two)

This platform also has Chaos Golems and Furious Chaos Wisps. Fight your way to the center of the platform (choose left edge or right edge to minimize the creatures to kill) and fight the Ascended Chaos Golem. Once he is killed, the fellowship will be ported to the next platform.

Green Platform (Three)

ChaosForgeDungeon3.png
This platform has less Chaos Golems but more Furious Chaos Wisps. Fight your way to the center of the platform, again choosing just one side to walk, and kill the wisps that start in the "holes" in platform because they hit the group when you go around it. At the end of this platform, fight the Resplendent Chaos Golem. Once he is killed, the fellowship will be ported to the next platform.

Blue Platform (Four)

This spiral platform is the hardest because all the Furious Chaos Wisps can attack from range with their armor-piercing attacks. There are also Chaos Golems in here, and the respawn rate on both is quite fast. You can jump your way to the center of the platform (jump in diagonal to avoid fall - check second image in detail so see the jumping recommended path), crossing the branches after the fellow kills the wisps from range and carefully moving. Once in the middle, kill the Exalted Chaos Golem. Once he is killed, the fellowship will be ported to the next and final platform.

Violet Platform (Five)

Finally, the last Platform. There are many Chaos Golems, Furious Chaos Wisps and Raging Chaos Wisps. Make your way to the center of the platform past the portal... Do not use it yet! If you do, you will need to start from the first platform. Once in the middle, kill the Supreme Chaos Golem.

Once he is killed, the fellowship can use the Chaos Rift to close the rift and advance their quest. The chaos rift will respawn again soon, and another fellow can use it to advance their quest (when the Supreme Golem respawns, no one can use the rift). Once you have used the rift, go through the portal. It returns you back to the Hammer of Light where you can complete the quest.

Rewards

Arramora Recall

ArramoraRecallIcon.jpg - To gain the very useful skill Arramora Recall, you need a Star of Heroes. To get one, once you've completed this Chaos Forge quest, you can give the forge either of these items:

or

Handing the forge either one will give you the Star of Heroes (again, DON'T click the forge!) Once you have the Star, you just need a portal to Arramora. Give the Star of Heroes to the Star Beacon to learn the skill.

Augmented Kingdom Armor

One way to get Augmented Kingdom Armor is to hand the forge existing Kingdom Armor. You'll receive a free upgrade of your Kingdom Armor to Augmented Kingdom Armor. You can hand in imbued or unimbued armor. Also, if you have Kingdom Armor that is no longer of your kingdom, you can hand that in and get the Augmented Kingdom Armor of your faction.

WARNING: Augmented Kingdom Armor requires 92 Arcane Lore to equip, and any crystal imbues on the piece will be lost.

You can also use the Chaos Forge to create Augmented Kingdom Armor from the following components:
